What we collect

• Account data: username, email address and a password hash. We never store passwords in plain text and never write them to logs.
• Usage data: the products you search for and the requests you submit, so we can build and keep your reports.
• Session cookie: one cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• Technical logs: IP address and user agent, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To deliver the service: matching products, generating reports, sending the one email per finished report, recovering your password, and protecting the service from abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Reports stay live for 72 hours; you can request a refresh.
• Account data stays until you delete the account. Deletion removes your account, requests and reports within 7 days.
• Anonymised “was this useful” votes stay, and cannot be traced back to you.

Who processes it

We use Cloudflare for hosting and delivery, and an email provider for transactional email (report ready, password reset, email confirmation). Neither is authorised to use your data for their own marketing.

Your rights

You can access and export your data, correct your email, and delete your account from the account page. If you cannot use those controls, contact us and we will handle the request.
